Teaching Writing
Deborah believes that storytelling sets humans apart from other species. Her job as a writing instructor is to help writers find their voice to tell their stories. She has been writing since she was nine, and teaching writing for thirty years to the widest imaginable populations, from gifted school children to newly literate adults. Her students have included freshmen at Columbia College, inmates in Vermont prisons, and octogenarians from the community at large.
