Teaching Writing:  Revision Circle Workshops

Revision Circle Workshops are for writers with a body of work they are ready to reread, review and rewrite. A Revision Circle requires between six and eight writers who can commit to a series of meetings at regular intervals. Participants are responsible for providing properly prepared typescripts to all members of the group, and participants are expected to read others’ work with exceptional care. Meetings will be devoted to discussing the work, with equal care given to understanding what is effective and what is not.

Revision Circles are a significant commitment to both the process of revision and to the other writers in the group. Workshops can be tailored to suit your group’s needs. For more information, or to discuss starting a Revision Circle Workshop, please contact Deborah.
