Artemis Ambassador to Speak at One Grand Books, Narrowsburg, NY

I’ll be talking about my memoir, Reviving Artemis: The Making of  Huntress, about becoming a deer hunter at sixty. This was an unquestionably feminist heroic journey–both walking into the woods in the dark with a rifle and without a marked trail and writing this deeply personal story. And the journey isn’t over: I’m now an Artemis Ambassador for the National Wildlife Federation, “committed to building a community dedicated to Artemis’ wild spirit and conservation ethos.”
