It’s a cold, not Covid.
My negative test result came back this morning and I’m awash with relief. I don’t even mind the lingering upper respiratory symptoms now that I know I haven’t inadvertently infected any of my friends or family with Covid-19.
I haven’t perpetuated the pandemic. Whew!
Because I’m generally healthy, vaccinated and boosted, I’m confident I can weather a breakthrough case of the Covid-19 virus if I get it. But I’d be grief-stricken if I passed it on to someone at higher-risk of complications.
Thanks for all of your messages of concern.
Wishing you good health in the New Year,
Deborah
