The Rosefire Revision Circle is for writers engaged in long form prose projects. Participants submit work to all members of the group, and all participants read others’ work with exceptional care. Enrollment is limited to six.
Participants read two to three people’s work with exceptional care between meetings. Meetings are devoted to discussing the work, using Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process, “a method for getting useful feedback on anything you make, from dance to dessert.”
The Rosefire Revision Circle allows writers to learn from others’ strengths, and to have one’s own work read by a variety of careful and kind readers. Writers leave each session eager to keep writing with new understanding, new ideas, and greater confidence.
The Rosefire Revision Circle is a significant commitment to both the process of revision and to the other writers in the group.
