Writing to the Light Writing Circle #7
The seventh annual Writing to the Light Writing Circle led by writer and educator Deborah Lee Luskin will take place in person on Sunday, December 10 at the Moore Free Library, 23 West Street, Newfane. The workshop will start promptly at 1 pm and end at 3:30.
At this annual end-of-year fundraiser for the Moore Free Library, writers of all kinds and all levels of experience are invited to reflect on the light in their life in a supportive writing circle. We will write to illuminate our inner light, honor our inner voice, and tell whatever stories rise to be told. Prompts and guidance for automatic writing will be provided. Collectively, we will create a safe space for those who wish to read their new words.
The workshop is free. Donations to the Moore Free Library will be gratefully accepted.
Deborah Lee Luskin has been teaching students from all walks of life, including inmates, healthcare workers, children, college students, adults and elders, for over forty years and writing professionally even longer. She has been facilitating the weekly Rosefire Writing Circle since 2016. Learn more at www.deborahleeluskin.com.
The Moore Free Library was established in 1898, when Philura Moore donated her home, $2,000 and 2,000 books to the Town of Newfane. The library continues to serve the community with information and opportunities for lifelong learning. Donations to the Moore Free Library can be sent electronically at https://moorefreelibrary.org/ or by mail to 23 West Street, Newfane, VT 05345.

Do we need to sign up for the Dec. 10th writing workshop, or can we just show up? And bring a cash donation?
